The art of getting it right

Brand Identity

Why bother?

Who are you? Who needs to know? How will they find out? And most importantly, why should they care? These are the essential building blocks of your brand’s identity.

Tell A Story

A strong brand identity tells a story that sparks connection and shapes how people see you. It’s like giving your company a personality that shows up everywhere, from your website to that quick handshake with a client. When your brand tells its story well, your values shine through loud and clear.

Get Aligned

Your branding should help your audience instantly get who you are and why you matter so that choosing you feels like the obvious choice. A strong brand works internally as well, bringing your team together under one clear mission. This way, everyone understands the game plan and truly works as a cohesive team.

Get to
the point

If you don’t shape your story, your audience will create their own version. When your brand identity is clear and intentional, you’re not just making noise, you’re creating a lasting impression that people recognize, relate to, and choose. That’s where meaningful growth begins.

How do we get there?
A branding project.

Creativity is not some kind of magic trick. It comes from a clear and well-developed process. By listening and working closely with our clients, we turn ideas into concepts that feel both fresh and familiar.

The branding process

Conducting
research

Most projects start informally with a chat and a coffee in our studio. It’s a chance for us to get to know you and hear about your goals and vision. After that initial conversation, we follow up with a more detailed questionnaire to gather important information. This helps us dive into market research, check out your competitors, and learn more about your audience. All this insight gives us a solid understanding of where your brand fits and what makes your business unique.

The branding process

Clarifying
strategy

Next, we get clear on your brand’s core purpose, and where it fits in the market. We want to clearly articulate what your organization is all about, and more importantly, why anyone should care. We then take this knowledge and set the tone that include typography samples, colour swatches, icon examples, and other elements. We meet with you to present our recommendations as mood boards, and look to you for your feedback. This helps us to create a simple roadmap that guides all your brand decisions and how you communicate.

The branding process

Designing
identity

Building on the strategy work, we dive into sketching and ideation. When we have concepts and mockups that meet the project goals, we present a cohesive brand identity system for your approval. Sometimes we nail it on the first try, and sometimes it takes a little fine-tuning. Either way, we’ll work with you to tweak and refine until you feel completely confident in your new look.

Managing
assets

We then create and share an asset library and style guide that set clear guidelines and systems to maintain brand consistency over time, protecting your brand’s integrity and supporting future growth.
